The Std 5 History Slides below were prepared by me and my son. The topic is on The Invasion Of Foreign Forces. I wasn't sure whether to share them because they are incomplete but I suppose it might be useful to some because of the translation. Only the first part has translation because the second half was prepared by my son and he insisted that he didn't need to translate them because he understood what the words meant (he was just being lazy).
We find History to be a really difficult subject. It would not have been so bad if it were in English or Bahasa Malaysia but in Chinese, phew it is tough. Worse still, we had read that there some facts are wrong and not much attention is paid to it in school. (It is left out in certain exams). We also do not know whether it will be included in UPSR (or whatever central examinations will be called) in 2016. All these has created a big, huge barrier to learning.
Feel free to use these slides in whatever way. I repeat they are INCOMPLETE but I hope it is of some help anyway. If you want to make your own slides, you can try Haiku Deck. They are easy to make and there are a lot of pictures you can use to give your words visuals.
