Let's Make Coloring A Family Activity

Adult coloring has taken the world by storm. Have you got caught up in the whirlwind yet? I have. I've loved coloring ever since I was a child and that love never really went away. If you are like that too, now you can make coloring a family activity. You can color with your child, bond, have fun and create really pretty works of art that you can frame up and decorate your house with.

Here are some really nice designs that are meant for adult coloring yet easy enough for a child to color too.

I really like this one by Dawn Nicole Designs. Dawn Nicole is author and illustrator of an adult coloring book called Color Me Inspired, a hand lettered and illustrated coloring book. I love how she combines her images with words and quotes. This project is great for mum and child or dad and kid or the whole family.

Here is another simple but lovely project also by Dawn Nicole Designs. This one is even better. It is a free printable homemade bookmark you can do with your child. It is easy with marvelous results.

Next up is this Owl Mandala. A Mandala can be simple or very intricate and complicated but this one is just right for a family coloring activity. You can color it in muted tones or make it very colorful. This one as a family activity should be really fun to see the different results you all can create out of the same printable owl coloring page. Art is Fun, yes it is.

Finally, from The Mad House is this fantastic mummy and me colouring page. The best part of this is there are two versions for you to print out and color. The mummy version is more intricate for the adult coloring enthusiast while the kid version is simpler and easier for children. Teens can probably handle the mummy one easily. This project is great for turning into a card for a friend or loved one.
